Lady Gaga Engaged to Michael Polansky

Lady Gaga is engaged to Michael Polansky. They have been together for four years. Surprisingly, the French Prime Minister announced the news, not Gaga herself.

After performing at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony, Gaga attended a swimming event with Polansky. There, she met French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal. In a TikTok video shared by Attal, Gaga calls Polansky “my fiancé.”

Attal posted the video with the caption, “Thank you, Lady Gaga, for your stunning performance.” It seems he didn’t realize he had just revealed their engagement. Neither Gaga nor Polansky have confirmed or denied the news publicly.

Gaga and Polansky, a tech investor, have been linked since 2020. They went Instagram-official in February of that year. Polansky’s ex wrote a New York Times op-ed about the experience of dating someone who is now with Lady Gaga. We wonder if a follow-up will cover their engagement.

Currently, Gaga is promoting Joker: Folie à Deux. In this sequel, she plays Harley Quinn, a mental health patient and love interest of Arthur Fleck, also known as the Joker. The film’s title means “the madness of two,” so expect more dark drama mixed with music.

Gaga has been engaged before—first to Taylor Kinney from 2011 to 2016 and then to Christian Carino from 2017 to 2019. She has kept her relationship with Polansky private, likely to protect her peace. Now that she is engaged, we may learn more about their relationship during the movie’s press tour.
