Blackpink superstar Jennie achieves a significant milestone this week as her solo career reaches new heights. Her single “One of the Girls” debuts at No. 49 on Billboard’s Radio Songs tally, marking her first appearance on the chart and making history in the process. This achievement places her among just two other highly successful soloists from South Korea.

Jennie becomes the third solo musician from South Korea to land a hit on Billboard’s Radio Songs chart. Notably, she joins the ranks of Psy, whose breakthrough single “Gangnam Style” climbed to No. 12 on the chart over a decade ago.

Jung Kook, a member of the globally renowned group BTS, holds the record for the most appearances by a solo South Korean musician on the Radio Songs chart. He made his solo debut in 2022 with the single “Left and Right,” featuring Charlie Puth, which peaked at No. 28.

In 2023, Jung Kook achieved further success with his debut solo single “Seven,” featuring rapper Latto, reaching No. 43 on the chart. He also appeared as a featured artist on The Kid Laroi’s single “Too Much,” which peaked at No. 38.

These milestones underscore Jennie and Jung Kook’s influence and success as solo artists in the global music industry.
