Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, known for their high-profile relationship and subsequent split, find themselves embroiled in ongoing legal battles even after finalizing their divorce. Turner’s legal team has reportedly filed paperwork in Miami-Dade County, Florida, seeking to reactivate their divorce case following the expiration of their temporary custody agreement in January.

The former couple’s relationship timeline is marked by significant events, including their engagement in 2017 and subsequent marriage in a Las Vegas ceremony in May 2019, followed by a more formal celebration in France. The arrival of their daughters, Willa and Delphine, in July 2020 and July 2022, respectively, further cemented their bond.

However, cracks began to appear in their relationship, leading to Jonas filing for divorce in September 2023, citing a mutual decision to end their marriage. The divorce quickly turned contentious, with Turner accusing Jonas of wrongfully detaining their daughters in New York City and alleging a sudden separation following an argument in August 2023.

Despite the initial discord, the couple reached a temporary custody arrangement in October 2023, aiming for equal time with their daughters in both the U.S. and the U.K. Sources indicated that they were making progress towards healing and resolving their differences, prioritizing an amicable co-parenting relationship for the sake of their children.

Since their split, both Sophie Turner and Jonas have been linked with other partners, with Turner reportedly involved with British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, while Jonas has been seen with model Stormi Bree. Their ongoing legal proceedings underscore the complexities of navigating post-divorce arrangements, particularly in high-profile relationships like theirs.
